Where can you buy Mi LED Smart TV 4?Mi LED Smart TV 4 will go on sale for the first time on February 22 and can be bought on Mi.com. The TV can be later bought both on Mi’s official website as well as on Flipkart.
Technical specificationsMi LED Smart TV 4, claimed to be the thinnest LED TV ever, is a 55 inch (138.8 cm) television which is rated to play 4K content. At the thinnest point the smart television measures a meagre 4.9mm, which is thinner than an iPhone 7 and weighs about 17.2 kilograms (excluding the base kit). The television sports a frameless layout on the sides and the top but has thin frame at the bottom which is akin to its flagship phone the Mi Mix 2.
The television comes with 3 HDMI ports, 1 USB 3.0 and 1 USB 2.0 ports for connectivity. The TV also has an Ethernet port support AV Input along with the traditional antenna port. The television comes with a 2 GB RAM together with an 8 GB storage. For audio output the television has an S/PDIF port but lacks the 3.5 mm jack or the RCA output.

The TV can be mounted on the wall, has down firing speakers, and supports Bluetooth headphones via Bluetooth 4.0.
Other featuresMi LED Smart TV 4 runs on PatchWall OS which is based on Android. However, it is different from the standard Android TV UI as Xiaomi has customised it to bring content to the fore, rather than apps.
According to Xiaomi, the TV is compatible with almost 3,500 DTH and set-top box service providers in India. Post integration with the DTH box, the channels and its contents gets integrated seamlessly into PatchWall OS and can be even searched directly through the television's search bar. Apart from the regular text search the TV also supports voice search, though the service is yet to be rolled out in India.
Xiaomi says the TV studies the user and the type of content consumed by him and over time is even capable of recommending content to the user. At present content providers have partnered with Xiaomi and has made their content available on PatchWall UI. The partners include services such as Sony Liv, Hotstar, Voot, Hungama. Alarmingly, Amazon Prime and Netflix remain unsupported for the time being, though the company has said it will soon start rolling out Prime contents on PatchWall UI.

Warranty and After Sale ServicesThe television comes with 1 year warranty for the display and 2-year warranty on the panel. However, after sales support has a few terms and conditions applicable to it. For instance, Xiaomi will provide assistance only if the television was purchased from Xiaomi's own website.
