ChatGPT, the widely popular generative AI tool, is getting smarter, according to OpenAI. In a post on X, OpenAI said “when writing with ChatGPT, responses will be more direct, less verbose, and use more conversational language.” Currently, ChatGPT users may see responses that are too long for their liking. However, with the latest GPT-4 Turbo model, ChatGPT is getting smarter and to the point. OpenAI also said that ChatGPT now comes with “advanced capabilities” in writing, math, logical reasoning and coding. “We continue to invest in making our models better and look forward to seeing what you do,” said OpenAI on X.
The smarter and more capable version of ChatGPT is available to paid users who subscribe to ChatGPT Plus. “If you haven’t tried it yet, GPT-4 Turbo is available in ChatGPT Plus, Team, Enterprise, and the API,” confirmed OpenAI in the post. If you are a free user of ChatGPT, then you will still got verbose and long answers and the less smarter version of the popular AI chatbot. ChatGPT Plus can be accessed at a monthly subscription cost of $20 and has been available in India since March 2023.
According to OpenAI, more than 100 million people across 185 countries use ChatGPT weekly to learn something new, find creative inspiration, and get answers to their questions. Earlier this month, OpenAI made it easier for users to get started with ChatGPT. “You can use ChatGPT instantly, without needing to sign-up. We're rolling this out gradually, with the aim to make AI accessible to anyone curious about its capabilities,” said OpenAI in a blog post.
