Philips have re-entered the mobile phone scenario after a hiatus of five years, with their new range of phones, according to BGR. The new series is named Xenium, which in Latin translates to a present one would give to a guest. Let’s have a look at what the new range of Xenium phones offer. The six phones that have been launched so far are the X806, X518, X523, X116 and X121.
The Xenium X806 comes with a 5MP autofocus camera with flash and a 3-inch 262K colour display at a price of Rs. 8,280. The Xenium X518 has a 2.8-inch TFT resistive touchscreen with widgets, a 2MP camera with flash and expandable memory up to 16GB. It comes at a price of Rs. 5,976. The Xenium X523 has a 3.2MP camera with flash and comes with an expandable memory up to 32GB whilst providing 50 days standby time and 16 hours of talk time. It retails at an MRP of Rs. 4,992. The Xenium X513 comes with a 2000MAh battery and provides up to 80 hours of music playback with storage for 1000 phonebook entries and SMSes. The price for the X513 is Rs. 4,776. The X116 model retails for Rs. 2,760 and has external memory up to 4GB, while the X121 has expandable memory up to 2GB and is priced at Rs. 1,776.
