Bihar CM seeks weather forecast help from Google India

In a meeting that transpired between the Bihar CM, Nitish Kumar and search giant, Google's Managing Director for India region (R&D), Peeyush Ranjan, the former expressed his wish to employ Google's services. Weather unpredictibility has been a vice affecting the livelihood of several natives, thereby making situations sensitive. Floods, droughts have become a regular occurence in the northern state owing to which lives of over millions is put at stake. The CM believes that with Google India putting in a system that helps dole out near perfect weather predictions, then situations would change for the better.

According to a report in the Times of India, post the suggestion, the state government would have to put forth a detailed proposal, which would then take the idea forward.
