Yesterday Motorola officially unveiled the Droid Razr and we saw that it boasts of incredible specifications; most notable is the fact is that it is the thinnest smartphone available in the market. However, with all the excitement surrounding its 7.1mm slim form factor one thing that was lacking about the handset was that it runs on Gingerbread. This would not have been such a big deal if it hadn't been announced on the exact same day that Google’s newest firmware – Ice Cream Sandwich was announced on the Galaxy Nexus. But for all those Motorola fans out there, here is some good news for you; the Droid Razr will receive the Android update by early 2012.
