Those struggling to find the correct remote for one of their many devices will find universal remote controls to be really handy. Logitech, manufacturers of some of these remote controls has now introduced five new models in the Indian market. The models being launched are the Harmony 1100, 900, 700, 650 and 300. The cheapest model, the Harmony 300 is being launched at a low price of Rs. 2,725 whereas the top-of-the-line model Harmony 1100 will sell for Rs. 27,995. The difference in price brings along a whole bunch of features. The Harmony 650 priced at Rs. 4,295 for example lets you control five different devices and has a simple colour screen on it.

Going up the range to the Harmony 700, that’s priced at Rs. 7,595, Logitech offers features such as channel icons and a favorite activities list. The Harmony 900 is priced at Rs. 25,995 and is meant for business users. Some of its features include the ability to control devices behind cabinets using its RF capabilities and replacing some 15 device remote controls. There’s also a backlit touchscreen. The costliest model, the Harmony 1100 sells for Rs. 27,995 and is an award winning product at CES 2009. Logitech’s Harmony remotes are said to support up to 225,000 different devices across 5,000 brands.
