RIM launches Microsoft SharePoint on BlackBerry

One of Microsoft‘s popular services, SharePoint has now been launched for BlackBerry users, confirmed the Canada-based company yesterday.

One of Microsoft’s popular services, SharePoint has now been launched for BlackBerry users, confirmed the Canada-based company yesterday. The BlackBerry Client for Microsoft SharePoint, adds RIM, is the best of its kind SharePoint solution available in the market today. RIM adds that the with BlackBerry Client for Microsoft SharePoint it aims to deliver quick and efficient information sharing all brought down to the comfort of a mobile phone. Additionally, it is being learnt that the app is secured by BlackBerry Enterprise Server, which RIM claims provides for a secure and cost-effective solution. The Enterprise Server, according to RIM will also facilitate the connectivity between the BlackBerry smartphones and SharePoint servers.
