After launching the highly anticipated Google Drive, the search giant now plans to offer its Gmail users an additional 2.5GB storage capacity. Over the years, Google has increased the Gmail storage capacity from 1GB to 7.5GB and this new move will entitle Gmail users to an overall of 10GB storage space. "Today, we're happy to announce that we're increasing everyone's free storage in Gmail from 7.5GB to 10GB (and counting) to celebrate today's launch of Google Drive,” said Nicholas Behrens, software engineer at Google's Gmail team.
