After Apple raised the curtains on their ‘new iPad,’ the next tablet that has the rumour mills working in full swing is the next Kindle Fire from Amazon. The previous Kindle Fire was quite successful. Though not an iPad-killer, it did manage to sell like hot cakes, especially during the holiday season as the company had foreseen. In fact, it was reported to have sold 1 million units each week of the holiday season, owing to its attractive price tag and feature set. The newest Kindle Fire in the making is said to have ditched the 7-inch frame to emerge in a larger form factor of about 9 to 10 inches of screen size. According to DigiTimes, Catcher Technology, a chassis maker has received orders from the company for the new Kindle Fire tablet. However, there is no word on the size of the chassis. If this news is to be believed, the production of the next Kindle Fire should begin anytime soon.
