With GPS devices gaining ground in the Indian market, Garmin Corporation, a unit of Garmin Ltd., a global leader in satellite navigation, just announced the launch of 2 new devices – the nüvi 40LM and 50LM. The devices will also come with free maps of Singapore and Malaysia, two of the most visited places by Indian vacationers making it easier for Indian tourists who travel abroad to these locations. NAVTEQ Maps are what power these portable navigation devices (PNDs). Like other Garmin devices the 40LM and 50LM will have broadcast options in Hindi and Indian English. This step was taken to provide an easier solution to users from all over the country. Click here for full story
