Asus to launch 7-inch Android Jelly Bean tablet in India

After teaming up with Google to manufacture the Nexus 7 tablet, Asus now plans to target the low-cost tablet market in India. According to The Mobile Indian, the company is set to enter the low-cast tablet market in India in the next two months by launching a 7-inch tablet.Alex Huang, managing director, system business group, Asus India, told The Mobile Indian, "Asus will launch a sub Rs 15,000 Android Jelly Bean based 7 inch tablet for India in January. Till now we didn't have a tablet catering to the entry level buyers in the country, which is quite a huge market, but with the launch of 7 inch tab in January, Asus will address this issue."
