More than 1,000 popular apps and region-specific content coming with BB 10

BlackBerry has revealed the lineup of popular mobile apps and brands that have committed to the company’s new BlackBerry 10 platform. The company has stated that 1,000 top app developers would be making their applications available on the BlackBerry World store when BB 10 launches. The platform will also have region-specific content ready on its app store at launch.BlackBerry is touting their new OS as having the strongest content offering of any first-generation mobile platform at launch. The developers partnering BlackBerry to bring the apps range from social media and games to sports, productivity, business and lifestyle.
