Everyone wants their very own phone these days, Facebook seems to be no exception. According a story by All Things D, Facebook might have approached HTC to build them their very own device. It has been named Buffy and it’s going to be built on the Android platform. If rumours are true, this device is likely be out in the wild in the next 12 to 18 months. Facebook has supposedly chosen HTC over Samsung to build this device. The project is being handled by Facebook CTO, Bret Taylor. The phone powered by Android, will be tight knit with all the popular Facebook features on the web. HTML5 will be the key element of the phone as well.
