Nokia releases navigation app, Transit, for full touch Asha devices

Nokia has announced that it is making a Nokia Transit app available for full-touch Asha series handsets. The app will make navigating through the city using public transport easy if you have Nokia’s mid-end and low end phones.Using the Nokia Transit app you can search for public transport stations, stops, addresses and POIs. It is also possible for you to chalk out and choose from multiple routes with the Transit app. The app covers directions for buses, trams, undergrounds and trains.You can check out timing for a particular mode of public transport and choose earlier or a later time to commence your journey. The app for S40 devices will also tell you what stations are the closest to you and even  types of transit lines that are available around you. If you’re on the train or bus, you can view detailed stops and times before you disembark.
