• India will have an upper hand in artificial intelligence, said Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Startup Mahakumbh. He also mentioned that the country’s youth is transforming from being job seekers to becoming job creators. Here are 10 things PM Modi said at the event.

• MeitY has notified PIB’s fact checking unit under the IT rules, days after the Bombay High Court refused to stay the formation of the unit.

• Bertelsmann India Investments (BII) is preparing to cut its second big cheque in less than a year for LetsTransport. This time, it is infusing $15 million at a valuation of $80 million in a round that will be a mix of primary and secondary capital, people aware of the developments told us.

• Wearable tech company Ultrahuman has raised $35 million from existing investors  Zomato’s Deepinder Goyal, Blume Ventures, Steadview Capital, Nexus Venture Partners and Alpha Wave. Of the total capital raised, $25 million has come in exchange for equity while the remaining $10 million is a debt line.

• Amazon’s Prime Video has unveiled its 2024 lineup of nearly 70 shows and films for the India market, marking the service’s biggest content slate in the country to date. Prime Video head says India is a key market to acquire 250 million subscribers coming from outside the United States.
