    CNBC-TV18 had earlier reported that Tata Teleservices was set to buyout Virgin Group's stake in Virgin Mobile India, the joint venture between the two firms. It is now being learnt that TTSL may pay Rs 1,800 crore for the stake, reports CNBC-TV18's Kritika Saxena quoting sources.

    The recent telecom scam seem to be scaring foreign companies from India. Telecom company Virgin Group is likely to exit from Virgin Mobile India, reports CNBC-TV18 quoting sources. It is learnt that Tata Sons and Tata Teleservices (TTSL) are likely to buyout Virgin Group’s stake in the joint venture.
