The government has come up with the policy to promote optimum utilisation of wind energy resources as a large number of wind-turbines installed up to the year 2000 are of capacity below 500 KW and are at sites having high wind energy potential, a senior official told PTI.
Meanwhile, the company said it is presently executing orders for 36 sets of super-critical boilers and 31 sets of super-critical turbine generators, which are in various stages of execution.
