"Suzlon Group is set to contribute to decarbonisation of the hard-to-abate sectors by harnessing the power of wind through a significant 400 MW order from JSP Green Wind 1 Pvt Ltd (SPV of Jindal Renewables Power)," it said.
The order is to be executed across two sites in Rajasthan and Gujarat, Suzlon Group said in a statement.
As part of the project, Suzlon will install 23 Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs) with a Hybrid Lattice Tubular (HLT) tower and a rated capacity of 3.15 Megawatt (MW) each at the client's site at the Dwarka district in Gujarat, a company statement said.
The project is located at Vagra in Bharuch district in Gujarat and is expected to be commissioned in 2024, a company statement said. A project of this size can provide electricity to 36,000 households and curb 1.42 lakh tonne of CO2 emissions per year.

Suzlon will carry out the project with a scope of supply, installation, and commissioning. It will also provide post-commissioning operation and maintenance services.

The advanced blade (SB 63) measures 63 metres in length and has been specifically developed for Suzlon's new S128 wind turbine family with a rotor diameter of 128 metres, 1.5 times taller than the India Gate monument in terms of height, the company said in a statement.
"Suzlon will install 48 units of their latest S111 120m wind turbine generators (WTG) with a capacity of 2.1 MW in ReNew Power’s Limbwas project in Madhya Pradesh," the company said in a statement.
The project is located at Karnataka and will be completed by June 2017.
"The rating has been assigned for its proposed long term and short term bank facilities. CARE 'A' ratings are considered to have adequate degree of safety regarding timely servicing of financial obligations, carrying low credit risk," it said in a BSE filing.
"The project consists of 24 units of S97 120 metre hybrid tower with rated a capacity of 2.1 MW. Located at Kutch in Gujarat, the project will be completed by March 2017," the company said in a BSE filing.
According to the contract signed on December 21, 2016, AMP Solar shall acquire a 49 per cent stake in Rudra Solarfarms Ltd, a special purpose vehicle (SPV) set-up by Suzlon for executing this project, Suzlon Group said in a statement.
Wind turbine maker Suzlon Group has bagged an over 50 MW wind power project in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh.
According to the contract signed between Ostro Energy and the Suzlon group on Monday, Ostro Energy shall acquire 49 percent stake in Prathamesh Solarfarms, a special purpose vehicle (SPV) set up by Suzlon to execute this project, the company said in a statement.
