Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde announces Rs 3 lakh aid to family of Shiv Sainik who died near Uddhav's residence

The incident took place on July 6, when Sena functionary Bhagwan Kale (55) along with other party activists went to Thackeray’s residence ’Matoshree’ in Bandra area of Mumbai to declare their support to him. Kale suffered a heart attack and died while being rushed to a hospital.

Appealing for restrain over the debate on erecting a memorial for his late father and Shiv Sena supremo Bal Thackeray, party executive president Uddhav Thackeray on Tuesday said, the decision in this regard will be taken by lakhs of Sainiks.
