"Vehicle safety is of top importance for us at Honda. From the forthcoming financial year every new Honda model introduced in the market will come equipped with dual SRS airbags as standard ," Honda Cars India Ld (HCIL) President & CEO Katsushi Inoue told reporters here.
It had sold 16,902 units in the same month last year, Honda Cars India (HCIL) said in a statement.
Honda Cars India has raised the prices of its entry level car Brio in the range of Rs 15,000 to Rs 18,000. Prices of compact sedan Amaze have been hiked in the range of 19,000 to Rs 26,000.
Bertrand D'souza, Editor, Overdrive believes that the new car ‘Amaze‘ launched by the Japanese auto major Honda Motor will definitely cannibalise into Maruti‘s market share of Dzire and that of other car companies like Hyndai, Tata Motors Toyota etc.
