      Cabinet has okayed conversion of IFCI debentures held by government in to equity. Government will convert optionally convertible debentures (OCDs) worth of Rs 923 crore in IFCI to equity, reports CNBC-TV18.

    • Government's stake in IFCI goes up to 55.57%

      The government on Thursday approved conversion of debentures worth Rs 923 crore that it held in IFCI into equity, following which its stake in the financial institution will increase to 55.57%.

    • Kingfisher allots equity shares against OCDs

      Cash-strapped Kingfisher Airlines today said it has alloted equity shares against optionally convertible debentures (OCDs), a development that may help in saving interest outflow on such instruments.
