The rally in the stock market is real and supported by the fundamentals, Goldman Sachs's Abby Joseph Cohen told CNBC on Friday.
The first half of 2012 "will be difficult", both in Europe and in the U.S., Abby Joseph Cohen, Goldman Sachs senior investment strategist, told CNBC Monday. She also expects that US fiscal policy will get tighter.
Abby Joseph Cohen, Goldman Sachs sees the S&P 500 at around 1450 by year-end. "The forecast is that by year-end the S&P 500 could be at about 1,450 and that will be an increase of almost 20% for the year," she adds.
