Addressing a gathering here, Hazare said that the agitation was being held to highlight the problems faced by the farmers, the Jan Lokpal issue and the need for electoral reforms.
Hazare, who has been the face of the Lokpal movement, said they have chosen March 23 to launch the agitation as it happens to be the 'Shaheed Diwas' (Martyr's Day).
The secretaries of all ministries or departments have also been requested that all concerned may be suitably advised to file the IPRs and the return under the Lokpal Act.
