Jamsetji Nusserwanji Tata was an Indian pioneer industrialist and philanthropist who founded the Tata Group. He is often regarded as the legendary “Father of Indian Industry”. He also manifested the idea for the Bandra-Worli Sea Link in Mumbai.
Cyrus Mistry on Sunday made his first public appearance here after taking over the reins of Tata Sons as chairman in December 2012 by participating in the 174th birth anniversary celebrations of Jamsetji Nusserwanji Tata, the founder of the country's biggest conglomerate.
