The limit is equal to what Apple offers in FaceTime and a lot more than WhatsApp’s four users at a time.

"This has been in the works for some time and we are glad that we are launching the service from India, which has our largest userbase. Like voice calls, video calls are also going to be dynamic i.e. depending on the quality of network, the video will adjust accordingly," WhatsApp Head of Business Neeraj Arora said.
Ahead of the festive season, handset maker Micromax will launch four 4G smartphones, priced under USD 100 (about Rs 5,700), to cash in on the booming demand for LTE devices.
The video calling app, which was first announced by Google three months ago at its I/O developer conference, aims to take the "complexity out of video calling".
