A wagon of a goods train derailed between Valsad and Surat stations in Gujarat on Friday but there were no reports anyone getting injured, a Western Railway official said.
A goods train derailed near Patna on Friday, affecting rail traffic on the Fatuha-Islampur section, officials said.The incident happened near Daniyawan station, about 40 km from Patna town, they said.
The Commissioner of Railway Safety (CRS) is probing Monday's accident, which claimed 10 lives, including the goods train driver and the guard of the Kanchanjunga Express.
The derailment took place at 6.31 pm, leaving mail express traffic on the Kasara-Igatpuri section on the Down line and middle line affected, he said.
The incident took place near Boko when 20 wagons of the coal-laden train jumped the tracks at Singra near Boko, he said.
