BJP received 76% of donations to parties by electoral trusts in 2019-20: ADR

JSW Steel Ltd contributed the highest amount, Rs 39.1 crore, amongst all donors of the Electoral Trusts, followed by Apollo Tyres Ltd with Rs 30 crore and Indiabulls Infraestate Ltd and Delhi International Airport Ltd which contributed Rs 25 crore each, to various Trusts.
BJP got 80% of corporate donations among five national parties in 2018-19: ADR

The BJP received Rs 698.08 crore from 1,573 donations, more than seven times the amount received by four other national parties combined from 201 donations, the report said

A study by the Association for Democratic Reforms reveals electoral trusts and companies with varied interests in mining, real estate, power and the news paper businesses donated over Rs 127 crore to national parties, while the manufacturing sector came in second, spending about Rs 100 crore towards political donations
