Domestic equity benchmarks ended the day higher tracking positive global cues
The Sensex was up 104 points as it closed the day at 59,793, while the Nifty ended 0.19%, higher at 17,833.
Adani Ports, Shree Cements, IndusInd Bank, State Bank of India, and HUL were the top Nifty gainers, rising between 1.3 and 3.1 percent each.
The biggest Nifty losers were Larsen & Toubro, M&M, HDFC Life, Bajaj Finserv, and SBI Life Insurance.

Domestic benchmark indices ended September 7 in the red. Sensex closed 168 points in the red at 59028, and the Nifty fell 0.18 percent to close at 17624.40.
About 2073 shares have advanced, 1289 shares declined, and 121 shares are unchanged.
