Team Anna member Kiran Bedi has dismissed the controversy over Anna Hazare's picture with RSS ideologue Nanaji Dehsmukh.
"The issue is how we get the right kind of anti-corruption law. This is no more an issue for us. Rest is now all behind. This is their political game. The real issue is not photographs. The real challenge is what will Parliament do on December 27, 28 and 29," Bedi said.
Ahead of Anna Hazare's fast from Tuesday to demand a 'strong' Lokpal, Kiran Bedi said it was not aligned with anyone in particular and that it was only fighting to achieve an 'independent' and 'non-partisan' CBI.
Team Anna member Kiran Bedi said a solution in this regard should emerge from the debate in Parliament on the Lokpal Bill in the coming days.
"We are aligned with no one in particular but support anyone or any force that wants a corruption-free country. And to achieve that we need an independent, non-partisan CBI," she said.
The former IPS officer also said the Team wanted a CBI which cannot be 'manipulated' by politicians.
Her comments come on the eve of Hazare's three-day fast in Mumbai beginning on Tuesday demanding a strong Lokpal.
Bedi alleged that for years, the CBI has been 'under the cover (of politicians)' and 'politically manipulated' by parties.
"Since the problem is known, solution should be given on it and that is what should be done on December 27," she said.
The Chief Election Commissioner has recently said that Anna Hazare's movement will be closely watched. On this, Kiran Bedi said, "We are all being watched. Let everybody be watched."
"Let there be a 'Jan Sansad' (People's Parliament) and not just Lok Sansad (Representative Parliament)," she said.
Earlier, Team Anna has said that they are not interested in mud-slinging over the issue of Congress leader Digvijaya Singh's photographs with RSS leaders, saying the real focus should be on what MPs do in Parliament from Tuesday.
Team Anna has played down the photo controversy and said that it's not the main issue even Digvijaya Singh issued a clarification saying he may have been photographed with RSS leader Nanaji Dekhmukh but unlike Anna he never worked with the RSS.
The Saffron outfit has also hit back and said that Congress is just scared of Anna.
The RSS has accused the Congress of trying to use the Sangh Parivaar to try and malign Anna Hazare's anti-corruption movement.
Team Anna on arrived in Mumbai ahead of its three-day fast, which will be followed by a 'jail bharo' (fill the jails) agitation.
Meanwhile, Doctors have said that Anna is fit for the fast as the stage is set for battleground Mumbai. Final touches are being given at the venue for the big showdown on Tuesday.
Hectic preparations are on at Mumbai's MMRDA grounds where Anna Hazare will lead a three day fast for the Lokpal bill starting from Tuesday.
