He first appeared in a supporting role in 2008 American sports film ‘The Express: The Ernie Davis Story’.
Boseman’s first starring film role came in ‘42’ -- a biopic of baseball pioneer Jackie Robinson, the first African American player in Major League Baseball (MLB).
In 2016, Boseman appeared in ‘Gods of Egypt’ as Thoth, the Egyptian God of Wisdom.
He portrayed T’Challa, the King of Wakanda in ‘Black Panther’, ‘Captain America: Civil War’, ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ and ‘Avengers: Endgame’ as part of the Marvel cinematic universe. He won numerous awards and critical acclaim for his role in ‘Black Panther’.
In 2019, Boseman appeared in ‘21 Bridges’, an action thriller directed by Brian Kirk.
