These 10 stocks surged over 40% in second halves of last three years

The Indian equity benchmarks have lost 9% in the first six months of 2022, battered by rising inflation, relentless selling by FIIs and pricey oil

The year 2022 has been an immensely forgettable one for Indian equity markets. Red-hot inflation, soaring oil prices, the Russian invasion of Ukraine and central banks' actions have triggered a brutal selloff. In the first half of the calendar year 2022, the Sensex and the Nifty have lost about 9 percent and investors are jittery but they may have a reason to hope as we head into July. Analysing the market performance of the last three years, Moneycontrol found that 10 stocks gave more than 40 percent returns in the July-December period in 2021, 2020, and 2019. We only looked at companies with a market cap of over Rs 250 crore. Here is how these 10 stocks fare in Moneycontrol’s SWOT analysis:
