Top microcaps upgraded to smallcaps category on AMFI list. Do you own any?

Mutual fund industry body, Association of Mutual Funds in India (AMFI), has published the updated list of large-cap, mid-cap and small-cap stocks for the six months ended June 2024. AMFI conducts this exercise twice a year (July and January) to provide uniformity in respect of the investment universe for various categories of equity MF schemes. The reclassification has been carried out based on the rank as per the full market capitalisation.
Large Cap: 1st-100th company
Mid Cap: 101st -250th company
Small Cap: 251st company onwards

Since there is no classification of microcap on the AMFI list, stocks that are ranked below 500 are considered as microcaps for our study. Lists that are as of December 2023 and as of June 2024 are compared. The study finds that there are 23 stocks that were ranked below 500 in the December 2023 review have been promoted to a ranking between 251 and 500 in June 2024 review. Here we display 12 such microcap stocks that are held by the most number of actively managed schemes as of May 2024. [Source: AMFI and ACEMF]
