US, India to soon exchange official documents on trade deal, tariff cut: Report

The Central government is now moving towards preparing the official documentation of the change in tariffs announced by the US President Donald Trump as part of a trade deal with India, CNBC-TV18 reported on February 3.

The report said the documentation process will be done as soon as possible, providing more clarity on Section 232 tariffs and the duties levied on Indian goods. Both sides will soon exchange official documents, detailing the proposed cut in tariffs, the news channel said.
