The Congress MP participated in his first campaign rally for the Bihar Assembly polls in Muzaffarpur.

While addressing a rally in poll-bound Bihar, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi can do "any drama" to win votes.

"Modi ji can do any drama for votes. He just wants your vote. If you tell Narendra Modi to dance. He will dance," he said.

The Congress MP participated in his first campaign rally for the Bihar Assembly polls in Muzaffarpur.

He also accused the BJP with running the government in Bihar "through remote control", using the face of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.

"Biharis have no future in Bihar. This is your truth. Nitish Kumar has been running the government here for 20 years. He calls himself extremely backward. Tell me what he has done for education, health, and employment in Bihar in the last 20 years. Do you want a state where you get nothing? We don't want such a Bihar. We want a Bihar where there is health, education, and employment..." said Gandhi.

BJP hits back

"Rahul Gandhi is a disgusting leader, showing how low he can stoop for politics. The people of Bihar will give him a befitting reply," BJP's Nikhil Anand told Times Now.

The BJP called his words that of a "local goon" and said Gandhi had "insulted every person who had voted for the PM".

"Rahul Gandhi has openly insulted every poor of India, & Bihar who has voted for PM
@narendramodiji! Rahul Gandhi has mocked voters, and Indian democracy," BJP leader Pradeep Bhandari posted on X.
