Phrases like “Unseen, Unstoppable, Unmatched” and “Swift, Lethal, Agile” frame the Air Force as a fearsome deterrent, capable of executing lightning-fast, targeted responses across enemy lines.

The Indian Air Force (IAF), on Tuesday, released a powerful video, spotlighting its air dominance and rapid strike capability, days after India's decisive military response under Operation Sindoor.

Titled “Indian Air Force – Responds with resolve, always...”, the clip was shared on the IAF’s official X handle, well timed to echo the nation's sharpened counterterrorism resolve.

Backed by the rousing iconic anthem “Aarambh Hai Prachand” by Piyush Mishra from the movie Gulaal, the video unfolds a montage of combat jets, high-altitude manoeuvres, and precision strikes.

The IAF's video release comes nearly a fortnight after India’s cross-border strikes on terror infrastructure linked to Pakistan, sending a calibrated message - any provocation will be met with precision.

The May 7 precision strikes by Indian armed forces on terror targets in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) triggered a sharp escalation in cross-border tensions, marking the deadliest flare-up between the two nuclear-armed neighbours in decades.

Earlier, the Indian Navy had released its video, underscoring maritime readiness, set to the electrifying poetry of Ramdhari Singh Dinkar, signalling a poetic battle cry drawn from the Mahabharata era, denoting the end of negotiations and the onset of action.

Asked about this poetic symbolism during a May 12 DGMO briefing, Air Marshal AK Bharti invoked Lord Ram’s words from the Ramayana, “Bhay binu hoy na preeti” - without fear, there can be no peace.

In the wake of renewed India–Pakistan tensions following the Pahalgam terrorist attack on April 22, the Indian military has turned to powerful music cues to underscore its briefings and social media posts.

During the May 11 tri-services press conference, a day after the ceasefire announcement following nearly 100 hours of cross-border tensions between the two nuclear-armed neighbours, officials surprised attendees by opening with the Shiv Tandav Stotram in Sanskrit, moments before Lt Gen Rajiv Ghai, Director General of Military Operations, addressed the media.

A one-minute video had then rolled, chronicling India’s calibrated retaliations against terror - from the 2008 Mumbai attacks to April’s Pahalgam massacre.

Blending historical footage of targeted airstrikes, rapid troop mobilisations, and coordinated intelligence operations, the montage drove home a clear message: India remains steadfast in its vow to respond decisively to every act of cross-border terrorism.
