An IndiGo Airlines flight operating from Delhi to Bagdogra was forced to make an emergency landing in Lucknow on Sunday after a bomb threat was detected onboard, police said.
According to ACP Rajneesh Verma, a message claiming there was a bomb on the aircraft was found written on a tissue paper inside one of the plane’s toilets. The threat was discovered while the flight, numbered 6E-6650, was en route from Delhi to Bagdogra.
