Indian Consulates in New York and Seattle celebrated Baisakhi on April 11 and 14, respectively. Pictures from the vibrant celebrations surfaced online, giving a peek into what happened during the festivities at both the Consulates.
The Indian Consulate in Seattle took to its official X account to post pictures. "The 1st Celebration of Baisakhi at State Capitol in Olympia!" the X post said. "Thank you Governor Bob Ferguson, Lieutenant Governor Denny Heck and Secretary of State Steve Hobbs for joining us in the celebrations," it further read.
Elaborating on the same, the Consulate further expressed appreciation for community leaders' who participated in the celebrations.

Pictures of vibrant Bhangra performances and other celebrations followed in the X post thread.
Meanwhile, the Indian Consulate in New York also shared pictures from its Baisakhi celebrations and shared that the evening started with a shabad and concluded with a lively Bhangra performance.
Elected officials including New York State Assemblyman Ed Braunstein and North Hempstead Town Clerk Ragini Srivastava were also present for the celebrations, apart from the community leaders.

Leading the celebratory mood, Binaya Srikanta Pradhan, the Consulate General of India in New York, highlighted the teachings of the Sikh gurus. He also recognised and acknowledged the Punjabi community's contributions to India's building.
The Indian Consulate in New York also hosted Eid celebrations and pictures from the same surfaced on their official X page. "Consul General @binaysrikant76 joined the Dawoodi Bohra community in New York @Bohras_USA for Eid celebrations; Senator John C. Liu @LiuNewYork also attended the gathering, adding to the warmth of the occasion," the X post made by the Consulate for Eid celebrations read.
