Union IT minister Ashwini Vaishnaw on February 17 said the government’s upcoming IndiaAI Mission 2.0 will focus on creating a bouquet of ready-to-use artificial intelligence solutions in key sectors for MSMEs, which will be made freely available on a common digital platform similar to UPI.
Vaishnaw said the solutions will be “tried and tested” before being deployed.
The government also expects several India-built AI solutions for MSMEs to scale globally, he said, adding that researchers and startups will be encouraged to develop technologies that help conserve power and water while improving productivity.
