‘I love India’: Eknath Shinde’s roadside exchange with foreign tourist goes viral

A video of Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde speaking with a foreign tourist on a city road surfaced on social media on Saturday and soon went viral.

The clip shows Shinde briefly stopping his car and interacting with the woman from inside the vehicle. In the video, the tourist is heard wishing him well, saying, “Have a good time and stay healthy.” Shinde then asks her if she likes Mumbai, to which she replies, “I am on a journey.”

The woman is also heard saying, “I love India,” during the exchange. Shinde thanks her before driving away.

The video has since been widely shared on social media platforms, drawing attention to the brief interaction.
