After the photographs of Opposition leaders Rahul Gandhi, Tejashwi Yadav and MK Stalin taking part in Bihar’s ‘Voter Adhikar Yatra’ surfaced on social media, the BJP called the trio “hopeless out-of-sync dynasts”.
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin on Wednesday joined Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and RJD’s Tejashwi Yadav in the march in Muzaffarnagar to “protect people's democratic rights" amid row over the Election Commission's Special Intensive Revision (SIR) exercise in Bihar.
BJP leader K Annamalai’s comments came after DMK MP DMK MP Kanimozhi, who joined the rally, shared a picture of Gandhi, Yadav and Stalin on X, calling them the “future of India." “Together we rise, together we resist. The INDIA alliance joins hands in Bihar to voice out against BJP’s tyranny and to safeguard democracy,” she said in another post on X.
She also said a government born out of questionable voting is not the people’s government. “This is a march to defend democracy, protect the Constitution, and uphold the people’s mandate. UNITED, we raise our voice for INDIA’s democracy,” said the DMK MP.
Sharing the same post, Annamalai said on X, “Could you show me a picture of 3 hopeless out-of-sync dynasts? ChatGPT: Here we go!"

The BJP also slammed the Tamil Nadu CM for joining the Bihar rally. “Stalin’s visit to Bihar is nothing but a political charade, an effort to whitewash the deep-seated disdain his party has shown towards Biharis,” the party stated in a post on X.
Gandhi launched the 16-day yatra from Sasaram on August 17 to highlight the alleged irregularities in the ongoing voter list revision exercise in Bihar. The yatra, covering a distance of 1,300 km across the state, will culminate in Patna on September 1.
Earlier, the DMK has been vocal in criticising the special intensive revision of electoral rolls in Bihar. In a recent party resolution, Stalin called it an attempt to tilt the balance in favour of the BJP.
Addressing a gathering in Muzaffarpur in his mother tongue Tamil, Stalin said Gandhi and Yadav came together to “save democracy".
“This friendship will help you win the Bihar elections. The BJP is going to lose. Your victory is evident even before the elections. The BJP is trying to stop you from winning," he said.
The DMK chief also accused the EC of acting like a “remote-controlled puppet." “Over 65 lakh voters have been removed from the Bihar vote list. This is the murder of democracy," he said.
