Focused policy initiatives helped India to regain its global economic prominence: PM Modi at Rising Bharat Summit

During the speech, PM Modi hailed the nation’s internal strength and said that the country has realised its potential in the last 11 years.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday said  India has regained its global economic prominence with an array of concerted policy initiatives.

Delivering the keynote address at Network 18 Rising Bharat Summit, the PM said the changes witnessed during the last 11 years is a result of body of work demonstrated by our regime. "We worked on manufacturing, focused on Make in India , strengthened banking, controlled inflation," the PM reminded the audience.

Speaking on the theme of the event -- "Strength Within", he said the strength of an economy doesn't come overnight, it is a continuous process that shows results after a considerable body of work.  PM Modi hailed the nation’s internal strength and said that the country has realised its potential in the last 11 years.

“When the hidden strength within a nation awakens, it achieves new accomplishments.” He underlined the importance of national confidence and collective resolve in driving progress," remarked the PM.

Highlighting India’s infrastructure growth, PM Modi said, “world is amazed with our digital infrastructure.” He also noted, “India has world third largest metro network,” pointing to rapid urban and connectivity expansion.
