Days after Noida techie's death, biker dies after falling into pit dug by Delhi Jal Board; family searches for him all night

Days after a Noida man died after falling into a water-filled pit, another such case has surfaced. A biker named Kamal died after falling into a water-filled pit in Delhi's Janakpuri area. The pit was reportedly dug by the Delhi Jal Board.

Reports said that the  25-year-old man's family conducted searches for him all night after he went missing. He was found dead in a pit along with his motorcycle after he went missing while returning home from work in Rohini, according to reports.

Police said the man was on his way back from his office late at night and was in regular contact with his family. However, when he failed to reach home for several hours, his family began searching for him.

Family members said they spent the entire night visitingseveral police stations in Janakpuri, Sagarpur, Vikas Puri and Rohini. At around 7.30 am, they received a call from the police informing them about the incident.

When the family reached the location, they found Kamal inside a pit along with his motorcycle.

The family has alleged negligence on the part of the Delhi Jal Board, blaming it for the accident. Police said an investigation into the matter is underway.
