That's it from this game then! We hope you enjoyed the coverage. Do join in for the second T20I of the series between these sides on Wednesday (December 18th) at 00:00 GMT from the same venue. It will be a must-win for the Windies if they are to stay alive in this series. Until then, goodbye and take care!

Rovman Powell says they need to be a lot more careful at the start, they knew Bangladesh only had a chance if they took early wickets. Mentions he always tries to lead from the front and he's happy he's a lot more consistent. Adds the batting group let their side down but the bowlers were really good. Ends by saying they're a good T20 side but haven't been at their best in the recent past.
Mahedi Hasan, MAN OF THE MATCH, says he stuck to his basics and tried to get it right. Mentions he enjoyed bowling on this wicket and the global T20 League gave him good confidence. Ends by saying he looked to put up a partnership with Shamim Hossain.
Earlier in the day, Bangladesh struggled with the bat for most parts of their innings but a good cameo from Mahedi Hasan and an excellent knock from Shamim Hossain took them to a decent score which we still felt was under par. However, an excellent combined bowling effort has helped them get over the line.
Powell and Romario Shepherd stepped on the gas and they started striking it big! A few big overs and the game was right in the gasp of the Windies. It came down to the Windies needing just over a run-a-ball but the likes of Taskin, Tanzim and Hasan bowled three brilliant overs towards the end to record a remarkable victory.
Bangladesh were brilliant with the new ball. Das was exceptional with his changes. The pacers kept it tight and Mahedi Hasan ran through the top order in no time. West Indies looked dead and buried when they were 7 down and needed over 10 per over.
What a game of cricket! Brilliant! It kept swinging from one way to the another but in the end, it's the visitors who finally get a win on this tour in the white ball format. Credit to them to hold their nerve throughout. Credit to Hasan Mahmud to bowl a brilliant last over to help his side get over the line. Real character shown by their bowlers especially after how they were beaten in the ODI series.
