So as expected, Pakistan and Afghanistan find themselves in the final of this tri-series. One does feel bad for the United Arab Emirates but remember, these are all part of the learning curve. This tri-series is a pre-cursor to the Asia Cup in this very country in a few days' time and the home side will believe that it takes the learnings from its performance. The Arabs have given a good account of themselves so far but have just lacked the finishing touches. They will aim to end their campaign with a win, as they face back-to-back fixtures, getting ready to take on Afghanistan at this same venue in less than 24 hours. Pakistan, on the other hand, can take their feet off and rest well for a couple of days before the final on Sunday, The action in the final league game is scheduled to begin from 3 pm GMT, on Friday, 5th September, 2025, but our buildup will begin well in advance. So please do tune in early. Meanwhile, at Lord's, England are putting up a good fight in their chase of 331 against South Africa in the second ODI. You can skip over there to catch all the action. ADIOS! TAKE CARE!

The victorious captain of Pakistan, SALMAN AGHA, cannot hide his glee. Says they started well in the Powerplay but lost wickets in the middle overs. Specially mentions Fakhar Zaman and Mohammad Nawaz. Points that Fakhar does not get the kind of respect he deserves and calls him a match winner. Says the ball gripped and turned well and admits that it never looked like a 170 wicket and shares they thought anything around 150 was a good total. Credits everyone for chipping in but appreciates Abrar Ahmed for that effort with the ball. Also appreciates the way Shaheen is bowling. Is happy to use the bowlers accordingly while also assessing the conditions.

The skipper of United Arab Emirates, MUHAMMAD WASEEM, heaves a huge sigh when asked about the two dropped catches. Admits that his side was trying to stop Pakistan under 150 and was doing well, but eventually, ended up giving away 20-25 runs extra. On their own batting, Waseem feels that his batters started well and their plan was to play a bit longer. On the wickets, the skipper puts it down to wrong shot selection, choosing the wrong balls to hit. On UAE's learnings from this match and tournament, Muhammad says that his side has learnt plenty of things, like managing itself under pressure and batting. Details by saying that one of the top 3 has to play a minimum of 15 overs and then the acceleration can begin. In the bowling, he is looking forward to get better.

Pakistan's ABRAR AHMED HAS BEEN ADJUDGED THE PLAYER OF THE MATCH, for his bowling figures of 4-0-9-4. He begins by expressing his happiness and says that he read the pitch and bowled according to the conditions. Says that he didn't quite analyse much but he planned how to bowl against someone like Muhammad Waseem. Says he was helped by the coach and the analysts to plan it out. Points that there is a bit of pressure sometimes, but his captain has asked him to be ready for such situations.

... THE PRESENTATION ...

While Pakistan can gloat about their win, their coach would be a touch worried with their competition from the opposition. It started from their second game, where, despite scoring 207, they managed to win by just 31 runs against UAE. And following that, their batters have been under the pump in the remaining two matches. They have a couple of days off before the final on Sunday, but the coach would want all bases covered against a firing Afghanistan. Even in this game, they just about got out of jail, from 80/5, which could have easily become 108/6 or 7. Please stay tuned for the presentation.

In the run chase, UAE again started well, focussing solely on keeping wickets in hand. While that plan was right, they needed someone to support Alishan Sharafu at the top. Unfortunately for the home side, unlike Pakistan, who got Mohammad Nawaz to support Fakhar Zaman towards the end, it was a one-man show for the Arabs with Sharafu topping with 68, but the next highest score read 19, of skipper Waseem. Pakistan brought all their experience to the fore while bowling, keeping things tight and actually happy, that they were not targetted in the Powerplay. Maybe, 10-15 runs more in that phase might have just made things a bit easier for the hosts. Abrar Ahmed wove his mystery, finishing with 4/9 in 4 overs.

Having mentioned about the toss, we have to mention about the what ifs. 15.5 in the first innings - Mohammad Nawaz dropped by Asif Khan. Ball number 15.6 - Fakhar Zaman dropped by Muhammad Waseem. Pakistan were 108/5 after those two successive drops, after 16 overs. The next 4 overs went for 63 runs. Ouch. That's the difference between the good teams and the big teams. Generally big teams have the experience to bounce back and find ways to win. The UAE bowled their heart out, not giving Pakistan an inch for around 80 percent of the innings - but they just let it slip in those last few overs. The spinners had kept the pressure tight, especially Haider Ali, who ended with figures of 2/17, but was denied at least one more. However, death-overs bowling turned out to be their achilles heel.

So we have our two finalists. With just one game left and both, Pakistan and Afghanistan winning 2 games or more, United Arab Emirates have been knocked out of the competition with a game to spare. 5th consecutive win for the side batting first in this tournament. And if we go as far as back as 2023, in the last 12 night T20Is in Sharjah, teams chasing have won only twice! Shows you why toss is such a big factor at this venue.

19.6Full and on middle, Dhruv Parashar drills it gun-barrel straight down the ground, between long on and long off. The man from long off slides to his right and intercepts the ball. Two taken. Done and dusted! UAE are knocked out of the tri-series with three straight defeats. PAKISTAN WIN BY 31 RUNS!

19.5Full and aimed at the leg pole, Dhruv Parashar hits it to the vacant mid-wicket region and runs the first one hard. With no fielder stationed inside the ring, Faheem Ashraf himself runs across to his right to cut it off. The batters skate through for the second as Faheem releases the throw towards the keeper. But Dhruv is back home safely before the throw.

19.4MISFIELD, FOUR! Won't matter for Pakistan at all. Pitched short and angling into the bodyline, Dhruv Parashar pulls it to the right of long on. Salman Agha runs across to his right, puts in a dive, tries to flick it back, but fails to stop it cleanly as the ball breaches the fence.

Junaid Siddique walks in next, at number 9, replacing Haider Ali.

19.3OUT! HAIDER ALI IS RUN OUT! Another one bites the dust. The yorker is speared in, on off, Haider tries to go inside out over cover, but mistimes it in the air. The ball goes off the toe end, and drops in between the cover and mid off fielders. Haider is keen to take the double, but Dhruv sends him back. Seeing Dhruv not moving a muscle, Haider is forced to retreat from almost halfway. Glimpsing this, Salman Agha collects the ball and has enough time to release the throw to the bowler. Faheem calmly collects the ball and breaks the stumps with Haider out of his crease by a fair margin.

19.2Hard length, at a gentle pace, outside off. Dhruv comes charging down and flat-bats it towards long off for one more.

19.1Around the stumps, short and on off, Haider Ali heaves it off the inside half of the bat to long on for a solo.

Final over of the match then. Faheem Ashraf has been suddenly remembered of. From UAE's point of view, they have played only 2 T20Is before tonight against Pakistan. Their margin of defeat in terms of runs was 31, while the other was lost defending. If they can get to 141 or more, they can keep that 31 on top of the list.

18.6Slower yorker, on off, Haider Ali squeezes it out. The ball rolls in front of mid off and they cross for a single. Shaheen Afridi ends his spell with figures of 4-0-23-1.

18.5Jags in a touch off the deck, on a good length. Dhruv Parashar gets a bit hurried but controls the pull, along the ground, to deep square leg for a single.

18.4Nails the yorker, on the stumps. Haider Ali gets the front foot away and shovels it to the right of mid on for a single.

18.4WIDE! Misfired way down leg, on a fullish length. Wide called.

18.3FOUR! Up and over! Short of a good length, outside off. Haider Ali creates room by backing away and slaps it over the point region for a boundary.

18.2Low full toss, on middle, slanting in. Dhruv Parashar drives it down the ground, Shaheen Afridi dives to his right, but the ball is deflected off his fingers and rolls down to wide long off for a single.

18.1Cannons in a fuller ball, on middle. Haider Ali plays from the crease, opens the bat face and steers it in thereabouts of backward point for a single.

In the mood to experiment? No, says Agha. Sticks to Afridi for the 19th. With the game fairly in the bag, one thought he might be tempted to bowl himself and Ayub, with an eye on the final.

17.6Tries searching the yorker, but slips a low full toss, on the stumps. Haider Ali creates room for himself, and works it through the cover region for a single.

17.5Length delivery, just outside off, Dhruv Parashar hops in the crease and steers it behind backward point for a single.

17.4Tails in a touch, a yorker, on middle and leg. Haider Ali drills it down to long on for a single.

17.3In the air... but won't carry! Fuller than a length, on off, Dhruv Parashar mistimes it in the air, clears mid off, and the ball lands in front of the incoming long off fielder. A single taken.

17.2An attempted yorker, tailing in from off. Haider Ali squeezes it to the vacant cover-point region for a single.

17.1On a back of a length, outside off, punched into the cover region for a quick single.

Haider Ali walks in next, at number 8, replacing Alishan Sharafu.

16.6OUT! TAKEN! Stunning catch from the Pakistani skipper! Shaheen takes pace off, and goes full and wide on off, making the batter to reach for it. Alishan Sharafu clears the front leg, and tries to smash it over mid off, but is too early into the shot, deceived by the lack of pace. Goes through the shot, but chips it over mid off. Salman Agha leaps on his right shoulder and takes a fine catch. That should be the game for Pakistan as the well-settled Alishan Sharafu departs on 68 (51). United Arab Emirates are 113/6.

16.5Nails the yorker, on middle, angling in, Dhruv Parashar bends low, jams the bat and opens the face to steer it behind to deep third for one.

16.4Surprises the batter with pace on, full and outside off. Dhruv Parashar is late on the shot. Before he could bring the bat down to connect, the ball zips behind to the keeper.

16.3Takes pace off, outside off, on a good length. Dhruv Parashar is too early, trying to push it away from his body. Gets beaten past the outside edge.

16.2Targets the blockhole, on the leg stump. Alishan Sharafu drills it through wide mid on for one more.

16.1Spears in a low full toss, from around-the-wicket angle, does Shaheen, Dhruv Parashar closes the bat face early and a leading edge is found. The ball rolls past the left of the bowler for a single.

After 16 overs, United Arab Emirates are 110/5. At the same stage, Pakistan were 108/5. Who could be the Fakhar and Nawaz for the hosts? Shaheen Afridi comes back for his final spell. 2-0-10-0 so far.

15.6Short of a good length, just outside off, Dhruv Parashar waits back and runs it down to deep third for a single. UAE need 62 off the last 4 overs.

15.5Risky run! Another one into the pitch, short and outside leg. Sharafu shuffles to the leg side, flat bats it in front of mid off and sets off for a run. The fielder has a shy at the non-striker's end, but misses to score a direct hit, allowing Sharafu to drag his bat in the crease.

15.4FOUR! Well executed! Slower short delivery, on top of the stumps. Alishan Sharafu waits for it, backs away to provide himself some room and ramps it over short third for a boundary. Moves to 66 off 48 balls, does Alishan, fighting a lone a battle for his side.

15.3Back of a length, on off, tapped to the left of cover for a quick run.

15.2Slower ball, into the deck, Sharafu backs away and looks to cut but is too far from the ball and gets a bottom edge through the covers. Single taken. 69 more needed from 28 balls.

15.1Beats the bat straightaway. On a good length, around middle, seaming away, Alishan Sharafu plays inside the line and is beaten.

Dhruv Parashar walks in next, at number 7, replacing Harshit Kaushik. Salman Mirza returns. 2-0-17-0 so far.

14.6OUT! GONE! CAUGHT! Number 4 for Abrar Ahmed and half of the UAE side is into the sheds now. Abrar completes his spell with extremely economical figures of 4-0-9-4. Fired on the stumps, flat and full, Harshit Kaushik sits down to play the slog sweep, but mistimes it badly. Gets too much height but there is not much power to sail it behind. Faheem Ashraf at backward square leg takes a simple catch.

14.5Full and on off, driven along the turf to long off for a single.

14.4Googly, on a length, turning back in and hurrying Alishan to block off the back foot.

14.3Quicker ball, outside off, Kaushik looks to cut but is too close to the ball and gets a bottom edge which is taken on the bounce by the keeper.

14.2100 UP FOR THE UAE. 72 more needed from 34 balls. Short, outside off, Alishan Sharafu gets down and across, on a knee and pulls it to deep mid-wicket, for a run. Moves to 60 (43).

14.1Landed outside off, the googly, Harshit Kaushik eases it towards short third for a single.

After 14 overs, United Arab Emirates are 98/4. At the same stage, Pakistan were 92/5.

13.6Goes full and around the off pole, Alishan Sharafu pushes it to the left of the bowler. It is stopped by Ayub himself to his left. Decent recovery from Ayub. Two sixes in the first two balls, and then just a couple of runs in the next four balls.

13.5Spotting Alishan backing away, Saim smartly fires it outside off, on a length. Sharafu has to reach for it but misses to connect.

13.4Drags the length back, around middle. Harshit hangs deep and nudges it across to deep square leg for one.

13.3A quicker googly, outside off, spinning in, Alishan backs away and mistimes his heave over cover, for a single.

13.2SIX MORE! Floated again, outside off, once again Sharafu dances down the track, gets to the pitch of the ball and hammers it over long off once more! 76 more needed from 40 balls.

13.1SIX! Full, outside off, Alishan Sharafu jumps down the track and hits it over long off! 50 FOR SHARAFU, IN 38 BALLS! Can he bat till the end and keep UAE's hopes alive?

United Arab Emirates need 88 from 42 balls. Pakistan scored 82 from their last 42.

12.6Flighted full and on the stumps, Harshit takes a huge stride ahead and eases it to the off side. What an over from Abrar Ahmed. Just a single off that over and a couple of wickets as well!

Harshit Kaushik walks in next, at number 6, replacing Rahul Chopra.

12.5OUT! OUTFOXED! LBW! Abrar Ahmed continues to weave magic and mystery with the ball and gets a double whammy! Number 3 for him in this fixture! Dishes out a deceptive googly, landing it around middle and getting the ball to drift and spin back into the batter, on a length. Rahul Chopra is undone as he does not read the wrong 'un off the wrist. Goes into the crease and is very late to react as well. Before he could bring his bat across to block, the ball thuds his thigh pad. A theaterical appeal from Abrar and the keeper and the finger goes up. But was that sliding down leg? Rahul Chopra has to depart for a two-ball duck. UAE further slip down to 84/4.

12.4Floated full and outside off, Rahul Chopra reverse sweeps it straight to backward point.

Rahul Chopra walks in next, at number 5, replacing Asif Khan.

12.3OUT! CAUGHT! Nearly a collision in the middle but the catch is taken in the end. Abrar gets his second. Tossed up, outside off, Asif looks to slog this down the ground but is early into the stroke. Additionally, the ball comes slowly off the surface as well. Asif mistimes this high in the air and two people go for the catch - long on running in and long off running across. In the end, though there is no calling, Shaheen Afridi keeps his cool from long on and ensures that he takes the catch, despite Mohammad Nawaz nearly running into him from long off. Asif departs for 7 (5) and from 72/1, United Arab Emirates are now 84/3! Equation - 88 runs, 45 balls.

12.2Quicker googly, outside off, spins in, Asif Khan picks it well, waits for it and cuts it away, but cannot beat backward point.

12.1Short, slower through the air, spinning away from outside off, Alishan Sharafu cuts it through point for a single.

After 12 overs, United Arab Emirates are 83/2. At the same stage, Pakistan were 81/5! Abrar Ahmed returns. 2-0-4-1 so far.

11.6SIX! VANISHED! A loosener from Ayub, straight into the wheelhouse of the right-hander, on off. Asif Khan spanks this half volley behind long off for a cracking six! 11 off the over. A productive one for UAE!

11.5Dropped short on the leg stump. Alishan Sharafu pulls it to deep mid-wicket for another solo.

11.4Short and on middle and leg. Asif Khan stands deep in the crease and works it between long on and deep mid-wicket for an easy single.

11.3Full, around middle and off, Asif Khan nudges it through mid-wicket but the bowler himself rushes to his right to stop the ball.

11.2Slower through the air, short outside off, Sharafu backs away and cuts it through point for a single.

11.1Short, outside off, Alishan Sharafu backs away and punches it through the covers for a couple. 98 more needed from 53 balls.

Asif Khan walks in next, at number 4, replacing Ethan D'souza.

10.6OUT! IN THE AIR, GONE! CAUGHT! Mohammad Nawaz strikes back strongly and breaks this 31-run partnership. This is pitched behind a couple of yards of the fuller length, sliding into the batter. Ethan D'souza goes deep inside the crease and shapes to pull it behind deep square leg. But the connection is not that great and the ball goes only as far as Saim Ayub, stationed at deep square leg. He takes a simple catch. D'souza goes for 9 (14) and United Arab Emirates are 72/2.

10.5Fuller delivery, turning away, around off. Alishan Sharafu leans on and drives it with the spin to deep extra cover for a single.

10.4SIX! An evident attempt to switch gears now! On middle, drifting into the batter, on a fullish length. Alishan Sharafu shuffles across a bit, uses his wrists to whip it over and behind deep backward square leg for half a dozen. Alishan Sharafu moves into the 40s!

10.3SIX! BELLIGERENT! If the previous one was missed by a country mile, this one has been sent a country mile! Floated, outside off, Sharafu gets down and this time, waits for the ball. Mows the slog sweep to perfection and clears deep mid-wicket comfortably. 107 more needed from 57 balls. Sharafu moves to 34 (31).

10.2Slow, slow, slow, flighted outside off, from around the wicket, Alishan Sharafu gets down to sweep but misses it by a country mile.

10.1Full, down the leg side, Ethan D'souza gets down and sweeps it towards fine leg for a single.

DRINKS BREAK. Dying a slow death? That's the feeling one is getting regarding the run chase. In the modern age T20, 114 from 60 balls is difficult, but definitely gettable with 9 wickets in hand. But here in Sharjah, batting just keeps getting more and more difficult as the night wears on. Despite losing just a solitary wicket, the hosts have managed just 4 fours and a six so far. Pakistan themselves slowed down massively post the Powerplay, managing just 47 runs between overs 7-15. However, they ramped it up in the final 5 overs. The home fans will hope that the acceleration starts soon.

9.6Slows it up through the air, full and around off, spinning away. Ethan D'souza takes a giant stride forward, opens the bat face late and eases it in front of backward point for a single. Halfway into the chase, United Arab Emirates are 58/1, needing 114 runs to win.

9.5Fuller than short, on middle, Alishan Sharafu rocks back and nudges it wide of long on for a single.

9.4Drag-downer, on middle. Alishan backs away and punches it straight to cover.

9.3Full and quick, on middle and leg, Sharafu comes down the track but is not to the pitch of the ball. Is forced to defend.

9.2From around the wicket, tossed up, around middle and off, pretty full, Ethan D'souza pushes it towards long on for a run.

9.1Tossed up, around middle, Alishan Sharafu comes down the track and bunts it down to long on for a single.

United Arab Emirates need another 118 from 66 balls. Pakistan scored 98 in their last 66. Here's spinner number 4 - Saim Ayub!

8.6Short, outside off, punched towards long off for a single.

8.6WIDE. THE FIRST WIDE OF THE INNINGS! In fact, it is the first extra ball of the chase. Landed outside off, slower through the air, but it spins away well past the wide guideline. Left alone.

8.5Gets across and nudges it towards short fine leg for one.

8.4Gets well across his stumps and Nawaz smartly bowls it slower through the air, around middle. Ethan gets across to paddle it over the keeper but misses. Luckily for him, the ball just misses his leg stump!

8.3Quicker through the air, short and outside off, D'Souza backs away and slices it towards short third.

8.2Short, around middle, punched towards long on for a run.

8.1Short, around middle, Ethan D'souza gets across and works it through mid-wicket for a single.

That was a quick over. After 8 overs, United Arab Emirates are 49/1. At the same stage, Pakistan were 66/3. Mohammad Nawaz to bowl now. Spinner number 3.

7.6Full, down the leg side, D'Souza gets down on a knee and looks to sweep it away but there is extra bounce on the ball. It goes off the glove over the keeper, just wide of short fine leg. A single taken.

7.5Around middle and off, Alishan Sharafu chips this down to long on for a run.

7.4Full, outside off, Ethan D'souza leans and drives it through the covers for a single.

7.3Short, around off, punched down to long on for a single.

7.2Down the leg side, worked through mid-wicket for a run.

7.1Around off, pushed towards cover.

United Arab Emirates need another 128 from 78 balls. Pakistan hit 114 in their last 78. The skipper, Salman Agha, to bowl now.

6.6Outside off, spinning away, a push and a miss. A wicket and 3 runs from the over, Abrar Ahmed's bowling figures read 2-0-4-1!

6.5Full, outside off, Ethan D'souza gets down to sweep but misses and is hit on the pads. Pakistan put in an LBW appeal but the umpire moves away. The impact seemed to be outside off. The ball deflects away to the off side and the batters pinch a leg bye.

6.4Full, around off, Alishan Sharafu gets across and works it through mid on for a single.

6.3Around off, the googly, punched back to the bowler.

6.2Down the leg side, helped through square leg for a run.

Ethan D'souza walks in next, at number 3, replacing his skipper, Muhammad Waseem.

6.1OUT! CAUGHT! Spin breaks through for Pakistan. Tossed up, outside off, slower through the air, Muhammad Waseem gets down on a knee and aims for a massive slog sweep. But he is months early into the stroke, with the ball arriving much later. It pitches, spins away and takes the leading edge. Simple catch for Faheem Ashraf getting across to his right from backward point. Waseem departs for 19 (19) and United Arab Emirates are 41/1 after 6.1 overs, needing another 131 from 83 balls.

United Arab Emirates trying to stay afloat with Pakistan. The hosts end the fielding restrictions on 41/0 while at the same stage, Pakistan were 50/3.

5.6Misfield. Should have been a dot ball. Outside off, AS backs a long way to the leg side and punches it towards cover-point. The fielder at cover dives to his left but the ball goes beneath his dive and the batters get a couple. 11 from the over, United Arab Emirates end the Powerplay at 41/0!

5.5The arm ball now, around middle and leg, Alishan stays leg side of the ball and pushes it back to the bowler.

5.4Quicker through the air this time, short and outside off, once again Sharafu is backing away down the leg side, but cannot beat short third with his slash.

5.3FOUR! Second boundary of the over. Beautifully played. Slower through the air, flighted outside off, Alishan Sharafu backs away to the leg side and lofts this gloriously over cover-point for a boundary.

5.2The arm ball, following the batter down the leg side, fuller in length, Waseem chips it towards long on for a single.

5.1FOUR! Just the third four of the chase, which shows how difficult has been to score boundaries. Landed outside off, Muhammad Waseem gives himself some room to the leg side, waits for the ball to arrive and cuts it fiercely behind point for a boundary. 138 more needed from 89 balls.

United Arab Emirates need 142 from 90 balls. Pakistan scored 126 from their last 90. It will be spin to round off the Powerplay. Mohammad Nawaz comes on from the other end.

4.6Another slower ball, short in length, outside off, spinning away, MW mistimes his cut towards point and pinches a quick single. Just 2 runs off Abrar's opener!

4.5A quicker googly, around off, coming in, Muhammad defends it back to the bowler.

4.4Short, outside off, spinning away, Waseem punches it straight to cover.

4.3Another wrong 'un, but this is slower through the air. Fuller, outside off, Muhammad Waseem gets down for the sweep but misses.

4.2The googly this time, short again, Sharafu backs away and pulls it to the right of mid on, for a single.

4.1Turn on the very first ball. Short and spinning away, outside off, Alishan Sharafu hits it straight to cover.

After 4 overs, United Arab Emirates are 28/0. At the same stage, Pakistan were 35/1. Time for spin. Here's Abrar Ahmed.

3.6Landed outside off, carved over cover for a couple. 11 from the over, Salman Mirza's bowling figures read 2-0-17-0 so far.

3.5Full, back to slower bowling, around middle and leg, this time Muhammad is cramped for room and is forced to push it towards short mid-wicket.

3.4SIX! BANG! Mirza goes for a slight change from the norm, opting for a pace-on delivery. He fires in a bouncer, from around middle and leg, but Waseem is already down the track. Slashes it hard, using the pace of the bowler and gets it over deep point for the first six of the chase. 146 more needed from 98 balls. That's number 9 for Waseem in this tri-series, most by any batter!

3.3A good bouncer, this time from over the wicket. Banged into the deck, but pace taken off. Muhammad Waseem sways out of harm's way.

3.2From around the wicket, targetting the stumps, but gets it a bit too straight. Sharafu gets it around his pads and nudges it through mid-wicket for a run.

3.1Good piece of fielding by Faheem Ashraf. Short and wide outside off, Alishan Sharafu leaps and slashes it through point. The ball races away towards the ropes, but Ashraf gives it a good chase to his right from deep third. Puts in a slide to stop the ball and keeps the batters to a couple.

United Arab Emirates need 155 runs from 102 balls. Pakistan scored 142 from their last 102.

2.6Another slower ball, on middle, pushed towards mid on for a quick single.

2.5Another stroke played too early. One more pace-off delivery, fuller around off, Muhammad is early into his flick and spoons it uppishly towards mid on. The ball lands just in front of the fielder and the batters pinch a single.

2.4Around the wicket, full and wide outside off, Waseem is sucked into reaching out for that shot and nearly edges it behind. Was too early into the stroke as the replay detects Afridi rolling his fingers over the ball.
