Right then, that is it from this short series and for the first time in a three-match T20I series, Bangladesh have got the better of Pakistan. Next up, Bangladesh have a bit of a break coming up as Pakistan travel to the West Indies pretty soon. We hope you enjoyed our coverage, but there's plenty of action to look forward to. Day 2 of the fourth Test between England and India is still underway and you can simply switch tabs and tune in to that game. Cheers!
There is hardly any time for any more chit-chat and Litton Das is quickly instructed to go on and collect the series-winners trophy and his team joins him under the umbrellas and they rejoice and pose for a team photograph.
Bangladesh skipper, Litton Das, scoots towards Shamim Chowdhury for a quick chat. Litton says that the boys played good cricket in the series and they just didn't bat well in this final game. Adds that they gave chances to a few players who didn't play in the first two games and want to build on it.
Jaker Ali is the PLAYER OF THE SERIES. Jaker comes up for a chat after collecting his award and says that it was a good series for them, even though they lost the final game. However, the interview is cut short as the rain starts to get heavier and heavier.
Sahibzada Farhan is the PLAYER OF THE MATCH for his fine knock. Farhan says that he is happy because the team has won and he played the way he was told to. Adds that he had a chat with Saim Ayub and told him to leave it up to him in terms of the big shots.
Salman Agha, the captain of Pakistan, starts by saying he is very proud of the effort. He adds that ‘the never give up’ attitude was there on display and today the team had many contributions from different players. On Sahibzada Farhan's knock, he says it was heartening to see the way he played and also praises Saim Ayub for the opening partnership between both of them. He adds that Hasan Nawaz and Mohammad Nawaz also played good cameos. On the bowling effort, he says Salman Mirza has been a top performer throughout the series and he continued the consistent performance even today. He adds that Ahmed Daniyal also bowled well.
Time for the Presentation ceremony... but it will be done in a hurry as out of nowhere, the rain has started to come pouring down.
Earlier in the game, Litton Das won the toss and opted to bowl first on a deck that seemed to yet again have plenty in it for the bowlers early on. However, their bowlers were taken aback by Sahibzada Farhan's whirlwind of a knock as he hit the ball to all parts of the ground. Farhan notched up a half-century but in the middle overs, Bangladesh started to pick up wickets more consistently. There were a couple of standout cameos from Hasan Nawaz and Mohammad Nawaz that ensured Pakistan got to a big total. For the hosts, Nasum Ahmed was highly economical and got a couple of wickets as well and Mohammad Saifuddin bowled superbly up until his final over.
A disappointing end to what has been an incredible run of four straight wins in T20Is for Bangladesh, spanning across two series, both of which they have won, against their Asian rivals. As many as 5 changes were made to the side and with the likes of Parvez Hossain Emon and Tawhid Hridoy not in the lineup, the onus was on the likes of Tanzid Hasan and Mohammad Naim to deliver. However, the top order completely crumbled, and so did the middle order. However, the lower order had much more fight in them led by Mohammad Saifuddin who remained unbeaten on 35 but the hosts still lost by a big margin of 74 runs.
Pakistan had the runs on the board and just needed a half-decent Powerplay. Instead, Salman Mirza and Faheem Ashraf ran riot inside the first 5 overs and picked up as many as 5 wickets, with Mirza sealing a fine three-wicket haul. From then on, it was all about game management and Pakistan managed to pick up wickets at regular intervals. They did bowl a few front-foot No Balls and couldn't clean up the tail as quickly as they would have liked. A long way to go for this new-look Pakistan team but this win will do them a lot of good.
Pakistan end the series on a high and with a big win but Bangladesh still create history by winning the three-match T20I series 2-1 against a historically big team like Pakistan.
16.4OUT! CAUGHT! Pakistan wins! Full and turning into the left-hander, on middle leg, Shoriful Islam goes for the lofted on drive and ends up hitting it to the right of long on, who runs across the turf and dives to his right to take a good low catch. Taskin Ahmed sits down on one knee and plays the cross-batted shot, only to get a top edge. 7.3Back of a length, slower delivery, moving away, outside off, Saifuddin works it into the leg side with soft hands and picks up a single.
A slight delay in proceedings as Mohammad Saifuddin has called for a change of bat. Rishad Hossain is the one who runs out with 3-4 choices and we can also see some sawdust being applied to the bowler's landing area. Saifuddin has his pick and we are good to continue...
7.3Short and aimed at the body, Mohammad Saifuddin ducks under it as he lets this one go through to the keeper. The ball went over the head height of the batter. Wide given.

4.3Oh, extra bounce! Short of a length and around off, jumps off the deck, Mahedi Hasan looks to defend but is well beaten.
Mahedi Hasan is in next.
4.2OUT! TIMBER! The Pakistani openers are running through the Bangladeshi top order. That quick arm action from Salman Mirza comes in handy but he does bowl it quicker and fuller, at the pads. The ball pitches on middle and leg, shapes in a touch and Jaker Ali is beaten for pace. The ball flicks the pads and crashes into the stumps and the half centurion from the previous game is a goner.
4.1Shorter in length and angled into the batter, Mohammad Naim clips it into the leg side for a run.
3.6Around the wicket now, bowling it short and angling it in from outside off. Naim mistimes it towards mid-wicket for one more.

Jaker Ali is the new batter in.
3.4OUT! CAUGHT! An unnecessary shot from Mehidy Hasan Miraz and he ends up gifting his wicket away. Short of a good length from Faheem Ashraf, slower as well and around off. Miraz crouches a bit and has a wild swing across the line, miscuing it completely around mid on. Abbas Afridi takes a simple catch and Bangladesh are 3 down inside the first 4 overs.
3.3Takes some pace off and bowls it around off, Naim punches it on the up and wide of covers for a single.
3.2Length ball on off, tucked away in front of mid-wicket for a quick single.
3.1Fuller in length and outside off, Miraz looks to drive but ends up dragging it towards the mid-wicket region.

2.5Hard length around middle and angling in, Naim fails to flick it away and gets hit high on the pads.
2.4Oh, Mehidy Hasan Miraz is nearly knocked over! Salman Mirza hits the back of the length and gets the ball to rear up and sharply too. Mehidy Hasan Miraz hangs back to pull but is hurried and the ball thuds into the side of the grill before rolling down to short third. They get a leg bye and the physio is called out for a mandatory concussion check. Mehidy is a bit fazed but is good to continue.
2.3Good length on off, bowled into the turf, Mehidy pushes it back to the bowler.
2.2FOUR! Skillfully done! Fuller in length and on off, Mehidy Hasan Miraz gets slightly across and on one knee before just helping it down to fine leg for a boundary.
2.1Full and around off, Naim punches it without much timing and in front of mid off before picking up an easy single.
1.6FOUR! Classy shot! Fractionally short and wide, Mehidy Hasan Miraz stands tall and angles the bat face to punch it square and through the gap at covers for a boundary.
1.5Nice and full on off, Mehidy leans on and blocks it down into the off side.
Mehidy Hasan Miraz is the new batter in.
1.4OUT! BOWLED'EM! Faheem Ashraf goes quick and full and straight, gets the ball to nip back in as well. Litton Das is tentative and hanging back as he looks to just clip it away but ends up playing all over the ball. The ball beats the gap between bat and pad to smash into middle stump, which goes carting off the ground and Bangladesh are two down inside 10 balls.
1.3Good-length delivery outside off, Litton Das opens the bat face and steers it wide of the point region for a couple of runs.
1.2A bit slower and on a length outside off, eased away nicely but straight to covers.
1.1Oh, a high full toss around off, Mohammad Naim is completely taken aback and just jars at it. One hand comes off the handle and the ball gets skewed down the throat of the deep mid-wicket fielder. He takes the catch and the batters pick up a single. The replays do confirm that it was dipping.
1.1On a good length and around middle, tapped across through the square leg for a single. Faheem Ashraf has overstepped on his very first ball and a NO BALL is called. Free Hit upcoming...
Faheem Ashraf to operate from the other end.
0.6Good length around the top of off, Das waits back and guides it down to deep third for a single. Just 5 runs and wicket off the first over of the chase.
0.5FOUR! SHOT! Good length on off, angling away, Litton Das prods forward and punches it sweetly through extra cover for a boundary.
0.4Dug in short and over off, darting away as well, Litton Das pulls out of the shot.
0.3Nicely bowled! Pitched up on middle, it is the off-cutter that leaves the right-hander. Das looks to defend down the line but is beaten on the outside edge.
Litton Das walks in at number 3.
0.2OUT! CAUGHT BEHIND! Excellent review! Mirza goes a bit short and bowls it outside off, Tanzid Hasan gives the charge, looking to smash it through covers but seems to be beaten past the outside edge. There is half an appeal from the bowler but not from the keeper, Mohammad Haris for caught behind and it is turned down. Salman Agha has a chat with the bowler and takes the review. The third umpire checks UltraEdge and finds a clear nick and overturns the on-field decision to OUT.
0.1Starts over the wicket, pitching it up on off, a hint of away shape on that one. Tanzid Hasan flicks it nicely but straight towards mid-wicket.
