So, Temba Bavuma finishes his post-match talk and walks forward to collect the trophy. He joins his teammates who are already in position to celebrate. That is all from this game. Hope you all enjoyed the coverage. Time for the T20Is to take place now. The three-match series starts on the 10th of this month at 5.30 pm GMT. Do join us earlier for the build up. Till then, cheers!

Temba Bavuma, the captain of South Africa. He says that the calf is a bit sore but he will get more information once he gets back home. On today's game, he says that it was a poor showing from them and they will have a chat about what went wrong, as this has happened for the second time in a row after sealing a series. Mentions that the intensity wasn't quite there and the dropped catches didn't do them justice either and even the amount of extras that were bowled was not acceptable. Adds that when you're chasing 400-plus, there's no formula for it, but it didn't help that they were one batter short and England put them under pressure as well. Ends by saying that there's been a lot of positives, especially for a fairly inexperienced side and today's performance shouldn't eclipse the good work done in the earlier games.

Harry Brook, the skipper of England! He cites out today's performance as the ultimate team performance and also points out this performance as the blueprint of how they want to play in this format. He believes that they have got a stellar batting lineup and if they get a wicket like, they hold the capacity as a team to score 400-450 runs on a consistent basis. Speaks highly about the experience of Joe Root and Jos Buttler in the middle and also acknowledges the contribution of Jacob Bethell at no.4. Appreciates the bowling duo of Jofra Archer and Brydon Carse, alongside Overton, feels that they have got a frightening bowling attack as well. Ends by saying that they learn from their past mistakes and look to move forward, carrying forward this momentum.

Keshav Maharaj is adjudged the PLAYER OF THE SERIES. He starts by saying that all the hard work is starting to come together but reckons that he still has a long way to go. Adds that he could have done a bit better today but kudos for the English batters for the way they played. Adds that when they are at full strength, they have the variety and depth in the bowling. Mentions that for now, they have to go back to the drawing board but are happy to beat England in their own backyard.

Jofra Archer wins the PLAYER OF THE MATCH AWARD for his stellar spell with the ball. He accepts that he initially thought that bowling in this surface would be a bit difficult for them, after their batters posted 400 runs on the board. He says that he tried to keep things simple and bowl the hard length and get some pace behind it. He also feels that the series has not been well from the team's perspective and they would look to improve on that, but is happy and elated to play all three matches after the injury and contribute from his end.

Joe Root is adjudged England's ODI Player of the summer. He says that the key was to get a couple of big partnerships and with the wind blowing across the ground, they could use one side to their advantage. Reckons that once you get a hundred-run partnership, it gets tough for the opposition to take wickets. On Jacob Bethell, Root says that he is wise beyond his years and is really pleased for him to play an innings like that was great to watch and hopes that he continues in the same way. Adds that once you are content, others will catch up, so the key is to have that motivation and keep improving but also use your experience and use your strengths in tandem with the person at the other end.

Time for the Presentation ceremony...

Earlier, South Africa lacked execution and England pounced on every mistake they made, eventually scoring a humongous total. Joe Root and Jacob Bethell's 182-run partnership was the highlight of the innings but it was Jamie Smith's opening burst and Jos Buttler's brilliant finish that helped England push over 400.

England were playing for pride after losing the series. They put in a special performance in front of the home crowd who will feel, other than the first game, their team played fairly well. Today, the English bowlers had the runs to play but they didn't relax and bowled with a lot of effort. Jofra Archer and Brydon Carse were right on the money with the new ball. They got a lot of extra bounce off the surface which troubled the Proteas batters. Jofra Archer and Brydon Carse bowled in tandem to break South Africa's back inside the Powerplay. The former bowled a 7-over spell, overall picking 4 wickets while Brydon Carse picked 2 wickets. Adil Rashid later spun the web and picked three wickets to end the series on a positive note.

It was always going to be hard for South Africa to chase this mammoth number but to see them fold out by such a low score looks shameful against their name. They needed to set the tone with a bright start but instead lost top four in single digits. Wiaan Mulder replaced Temba Bavuma at number 3, who suffered a calf strain in the first innings but Wiaan Mulder fell without troubling the scorers. The adversity didn't end as South Africa went onto lose 6 wickets inside the Powerplay. Eventually, left with no batters to chase such a score and it was just a process before they folded out for just 72 runs.

South Africa have been bundled out and let alone the overall score, they have failed to beat even Jacob Bethell's maiden ODI century. A thumping performance from England. They were completely beaten in the first game, came back and fairly battled in the second game but ended on the wrong side. However, have absolutely hammered South Africa to end the series on a high.

Temba Bavuma is unfit to take any more part in the match and is given as absent hurt.

20.5OUT! CAUGHT! And with Bavuma not coming to bat, this will be it for South Africa! The Proteas suffer their largest defeat in ODI history by 342 runs. Adil Rashid drops it fuller and around middle, Bosch sits down and decides to play the reverse sweep, but fails to keep it down and lobs it straight to Brydon Carse at backward point. This has been a pure bowling masterclass from England, and they end the ODI series with a thumping win.

20.4Very full and looped up on middle, Corbin Bosch flicks it on the up and to the right of short mid-wicket where Ben Duckett dives and stops.

20.3Drifts it around the pads, a touch fuller, Bosch keeps it out down the deck.

20.2This is full and on middle and leg, Corbin Bosch sweeps it to square leg.

20.1Flighted delivery, over off, turns away a bit, Bosck knocks it down to mid off from back foot.

19.6Full and quick on off, forced away wide of covers for a single by Bosch.

19.5Short of a length and right at the bodyline, Bosch is unable to reach as the ball hurries on and hits him flush on the hips.

19.4Tap and run! Full of a good length and attacking the off stump, Nandre Burger leans forward and gently pushes it in front of covers for a quick single.

19.4Wide! Another bumper, a bit more behind it as this is bowled at 148 kph. However, ir is way too short outside off and a wide is called.

19.3Pitched up around middle, gets it to slant back into the left-hander. Burger watchfully blocks it to mid on.

19.2A sharp bumper now, over middle and Nandre Burger ducks for cover.

19.1Around the wicket to the left-hander and just gets the yorker on the pads. Nandre Burger jams it towards mid-wicket.

18.6Floated up around off, kept out by Bosch.

18.5Slides one from the front of the hand and bowls it outside off, Bosch slaps it through cover-point fo a couple of runs and South Africa reach the 69-run mark, which is their lowest ODI total ever.

18.4FOUR! Up and away! Tossed up on middle and leg, a bit too full. Corbin Bosch clears the front leg and heaves it cleanly towards cow corner for a boundary.

18.3Nicely floated up, full and straight, worked away wide of mid on for a quick single.

18.2Tossed up at the stumps, Burger pushes it towards mid off.

18.1Flatter one, attacking the stumps, Nandre Burger hangs back and tucks it into the leg side.

17.6NOT OUT! A snorter of a bumper from Jofra Archer, over middle and coming in quickly at around head height. Corbin Bosch looks to take on the pull but gets beaten for pace and bounce as the ball kisses the helmet and goes behind. Jos Buttler leaps up to grab it with his right hand and a stifled appeal for caught behind is turned down. Harry Brook does review it and UltraEdge clearly indicates that there was no bat involved.

Review! England have taken a review for caught behind. Not a confident one but there is nothing to lose at this point. UltraEdge shows NO BAT. It brushed the top of the helmet in the process. Not out it is!

17.5Slower one, pitched up on middle and leg. Bosch leans on and waits before clipping it in front of mid-wicket. That was the knuckle-ball from Archer.

17.4Keeps the length short and bowls it around off, Bosch plays a stylish pull shot but can't beat the backward square leg fielder to his left.

17.3Short of a length again, at the body. Bosch gets tucked up and awkwardly tries to fend it off, getting a blow on the right glove. That will sting a bit as well.

17.3Wide! Banged in a bit short but drifted down the leg side for a wide.

17.2Back of a length and on a tight line around off, Bosch looks to punch off the back foot but gets an inside edge back onto the deck.

17.1FOUR! Top shot! Full and straight from Archer, slightly overpitched. Corbin Bosch shows the full face of the bat and pummels it straight back past the bowler for a boundary.

Nandre Burger walks to the middle.

16.6OUT! TIMBER! A lovely piece of bowling yet again from Adil Rashid and he picks up his second wicket now. Rashid tosses this one up, fuller and gets it top dip around off and middle. Codi Yusuf lunges forward to block it down the line but the googly turns in and goes through the gate to crash into the top of off stump..

16.5Tossed up at the stumps, played straight back to the bowler who deflects the ball back onto the stumps, but Corbin Bosch is back in his crease.

16.4FOUR! A valiant effort in the deep but it will be a boundary as Will Jacks was in contact with the ropes when he flicked the ball back in. A flatter googly, turning into the pads, Yusuf hangs back and jams it down behind square leg for a boundary.

16.3Nicely tossed up, on off stump, Codi Yusuf leans on to block.

16.2Fuller in length and on off and middle, Bosch hangs back and almost pays the price as the ball takes the inside edge and goes through the square leg region for a single.

16.1Fractionally short on leg, Bosch backs away and jams it to the left of mid on.

15.6Shortish length again and over off stump, Codi Yusuf gets right behind the line to make the block.

15.5Shorter this time and right at the batter, Bosch lifts up one leg and jabs it down in front of mid-wicket before scampering through for a single.

15.4Hard length wide outside off, Codi Yusuf pushes at it and edges it down to deep third for a single. Yusuf is off the mark in ODIs!

15.3Back of a length on off, Yusuf hangs back in the crease and dabs it down past the strip on the off side.

15.2Good-length delivery, on the pads, clipped away to deep square leg for a single and the 50 does come up for South Africa.

15.1Hard length, bowled from wider on the crease and angled into the stumps. Bosch taps it across in front of mid-wicket.

14.6Tossed up, a tad full and on the stumps, Codi Yusuf makes another block.

14.5A googly now, bowled quicker on middle and it turns as well. Codi Yusuf looks to leave but the ball hits the pads.

14.4Tossed up, full and around off, Yusuf leans on and strokes it towards Jofra Archer at mid off.

14.3Slows this one up quite a bit and floats it on middle and leg, Codi Yusuf watchfully blocks it off.

Codi Yusuf comes in next.

14.2OUT! EDGED AND GONE! Adil Rashid makes an instant impact and sends Keshav Maharaj packing. Flighted delivery, drifting into the pads and it is the leg break that turns as well. Maharaj is eager to skip down the pitch and looks to heave across the line but only manages to get an outside edge straight to first slip. Joe Root takes a simple catch and South Africa are no 7 down for 49.

14.1Tossed up wide outside off, Corbin Bosch reaches out and swats it back towards the bowler who lets it through and down to long off for a single.

DRINKS! It's been nothing short of a brilliant performance from England so far. They have broken South Africa's back inside the Powerplay and it will take a miracle for the visitors to chase this down. England on the other hand will hope they take the remaining wickets quickly and end the series on a high.

13.6FOUR! Up and over! Short of a length and outside off at 140 clicks, Keshav Maharaj presses back and uses the pace on the ball to cut it over the slip cordon and into the deep third fence.

13.5Back of a length and around off, this one shoots up off the deck, but Maharaj does well to play it late and with gentle hands, keeping it down towards gully.

13.4Shorter in length and outside off, Maharaj gets on his toes and pats it down in front of cover-point.

13.3Goes fuller now and bowls it on off, angling it in. Maharaj makes another solid block.

13.2Hard length at the batter, bunted out into the leg side for a single by Bosch.

13.1Was there a glove on that? Yes, there was and Jos Buttler has DROPPED IT! Shortish length from Jamie Overton to begin with and attacking the hips. Corbin Bosch looks to nudge it away but tickles it off the gloves. Buttler dives to his left and just gets ahead of the ball, ending up spilling it.

12.6Back of a length and over off, Keshav Maharaj does well again to keep it down, this time on the off side and that might be the last of Jofra Archer we see for a while as he's bowled 7 fast and furious overs on the trot.

12.5Shortish length and right at the batter, Keshav Maharaj nudges it across and manages to keep it down in front of the short leg fielder.

12.4Another bumper, this time over middle and leg and Keshav Maharaj manages to duck under it.

12.3Full of a good length and attacking the stumps at 143 kph, Maharaj solidly blocks it off.

12.3Wide! A quick bumper, over leg stump and angling further down leg. Keshav Maharaj ducks under it and a wide is called.

12.2Hard-length delivery over middle, Keshav backs away and taps it down towards cover.

12.1On the shorter side and right at the batter, Maharaj hangs back and blocks it off.

11.6Full and straight at the stumps, jammed back to the bowler.

11.5Hard length angled into the pads, tucked away wide of mid-wicket for a quick single.

11.4SIX! WHACKED! Banged in halfway down the pitch and over middle, Keshav Maharaj is waiting for it and leans back before nailing the pull over deep square leg for a biggie.

11.3FOUR! Nicely done! Full again, angled into middle and leg, Keshav Maharaj gets his hands out in front and just taps it to the left of mid on and the ball runs away into the fence.

11.2Pitched up on middle, Maharaj just shows the full face of the blade and punches it to the right of mid off for a couple of runs.

11.2Wide! Banged in on a hard length and angled down the leg side for a wide.

11.1Good length on off, Keshav Maharaj leans on and plays it towards the cover region.

10.6Hard length in the channel, Bosch gets slightly forward and pushes it into the off side.

10.5Back of a length and around off, this time Corbin Bosch stands tall and punches it down to extra cover.

10.4Short of a good length again and over off and middle, Bosch hangs back and jams it out to the on side.

10.3Back of a length and over middle, played back onto the deck by Bosch.

10.2FOUR! A bit too full and outside off, Corbin Bosch gets on the front foot and hammers it through the vacant cover region for a boundary.

10.1Oh, what a beauty! Archer clocks in at 144 kph and bowls it a tad full on off stump. Gets the ball to nip away from the right-hander and Corbin Bosch is beaten past the outside edge as the ball shaves the top of off stump as well.

Time for Powerplay 2! The field can now spread and England will be allowed as many as 4 fielders outside the ring but they won't be going for that ploy for now and would want to pick up the remaining 4 wickets at the earliest.

9.6A dot to end the Powerplay! That will sting! Short of a length and on middle. Keshav Maharaj looks to defend but gets hit on the gloves. Looks a bit in pain but is fine to continue.

Still no Temba Bavuma for South Africa as Keshav Maharaj walks out to bat. With how things are going, the Proteas may not even risk their skipper.

9.5OUT! TAKEN! South Africa lose their sixth wicket inside the first Powerplay! This is just brilliant stuff from England and it's not looking good for South Africa! Brydon Carse deserves this wicket. Has been overshadowed by Jofra Archer bowling a top spell but he has supported him well too. Short in length and outside off. Dewald Brevis pokes and edges it to third slip, where Jamie Overton bends and holds onto it.

9.4Creates an angle and bowls it full and on middle, eased to mid on.

9.3SIX! It was written all over the stars! Dewald Brevis gets off the mark with a six. Slightly short and outside off, Dewald Brevis counts his chances and plays the upper-cut over backward point for a biggie.

9.2Length ball, outside off. Dewald Brevis shoulders arms to it.

9.1Back of a length and around off, Dewald Brevis blocks it on the deck.

8.6Third maiden over by Jofra Archer and all three of them have been wicket-maidens! South Africa are not even playing against Jofra Archer! Corbin Bosch takes one on the body. Bowls it slightly short and on middle, Corbin Bosch, unmoved and without getting his bat across, gets hit on the body.

Corbin Bosch walks out to bat next.

8.5OUT! TAKEN! Will Jacks holds onto it this time. Unlike Jamie Smith, who was dropped and went onto score a fifty! Tristan Stubbs just add a solitary run after getting a lifeline. Jofra Archer drags his length further back and cramps the batter as he bowls around off. Tristan Stubbs gets tall to defend with an angled bat but edges it to second slip where Will Jacks takes it.

4.6BEATEN AGAIN! Similar to the previous delivery! A half-tracker but with some serious pace behind it. Zips past Dewald Brevis who looks to defend but misses.

4.5BEATEN! VERY CLOSE! England appeal for it but was half-hearted. Jofra Archer puts in the effort behind this short ball and bowls it just outside off. Dewald Brevis looks to defend on the up but misses.

Dewald Brevis is in next.
