Zen Tech launches four AI powered anti-drone products

With an order book exceeding Rs 1,400 crore as of March 31, the anti-drone technology and defence training solutions provider expects to see sustained growth in FY25, aiming to surpass the Rs 900-crore sales mark.

Zen Technologies, a leading anti-drone technology player has launched four new products in partnership with subsidiary AI Turing Technologies, which the company said is aimed at the global defense market.

An exchange on July 15 filing said the innovations cater to a wide range of defence requirements.

Hawkeye: An anti-drone system camera with multiple sensor detection modules for all-weather drone tracking up to 15 km.

Barbarik – URCWS: Zen claims this is the world’s lightest remote-controlled weapon station, offering precise targeting capabilities for ground vehicles and naval vessels.

Prahasta: Automated quadruped using LIDAR and reinforcement learning for real-time 3D terrain mapping, mission planning, navigation, and threat assessment. It can be armed with various calibre weapons (9mm, 5.56mm, 7.62mm) and used as the first line of defense during operations like 26/11 to save lives.

Sthir Stab 640: A stabilized sight for armoured vehicles, ICVs, and boats, with gyro-stabilized system. It provides situational awareness with automatic search and tracking capabilities.

"These innovations mark a major leap forward in autonomous defense operations. We believe that the launch of these products will highlight the importance of integrating advanced robotics into combat and reconnaissance missions. Our self-funded products will allow Zen to provide an even broader range of cutting-edge technologies to both current and potential clients," Zen Technologies' Chairman and Managing Director, Ashok Atluri said.

Zen Tech has a dedicated R&D facility in Hyderabad which is recognized by the Ministry of Science and Technology and has filed for over 150 patents.

Shares of Zen Tech have more than doubled in the last one year and are higher by 64 percent so far this year.
