CA topper prefers job for time being

Coimbatore, Feb 8 (PTI): Prema Jayakumar, the national topper in the CA Examination, today said she wants a job after completing her course and might later join some corporates. "Let me do some job and I may join some Corporates or Companies, she said, replying to questions on her future plans at a press conference here . Prema, who was offered a Manager's post directly by Indian Bank, also said she wanted to settle down in Mumbai, where she was born and brought up. Asked whether she would start her auditing firm, since her brother had also cleared the CA exam along with her,she said she would think over it after gaining some experience working in corporates. Prema was given Rs three lakh by Sri Krishna Institutions, honouring as +Appreciation of Achievement,+ by its chairperson, S Malarvizhi. Attributing her success to the support and guidance of her parents and teachers, she told B. Com students that the secret of her success was willpower and confidence, through which one could succeed in life Coaching alone would not help students, but they should put in a lot of effort to achieve their objective,she said Prema, whose father, an auto driver in Malad in Mumbai, as hailing from a village near Vizhupuram in Tamil Nadu, said. G Ramasamy, past president, Institute of Chartered Accountants of India,while felicitating Prema said over 50 per cent of students appearing for CA exam are girls and through conviction, commitment and courage one can clear the one of the toughest examinations in the world.
