Share price of Suzlon Energy rose 1.5 percent intraday Thursday after company won an order from Atria Power.
The company bagged its maiden order for development of 50.4 MW wind power project from Atria Power.
The company will install 12 units of S1l1-140m and 12 units of S120-140m wind turbine generators (WTGs) with a Hybrid Lattice Tubular (HLT) tower, with rated capacity of 2.1 MW each.
The project is located in Tuticorin, Tamil Nadu and is in advance stages. It will be commissioned in two phases by H1, FY20. This order formed a part of Letter of Intent (Lot) orders of 484 MW.
The company will execute the project on turnkey basis and will also provide comprehensive operation and maintenance services
J.P. Chalasani, Group CEO, Suzlon Group said, "We believe the synergy in our common resolve towards India's energy security brought us together to partner for this project. The project will be commissioned in two phases and will comprise of S111-140m and S120-140m, the tallest wind turbines in the country."
At 10:57 hrs Suzlon Energy was quoting at Rs 5.36, up Rs 0.08, or 1.52 percent on the BSE.
