Inflow of chilli crop stood around 0.38-0.4lakh bags while spot rates surged on strong export & domestic demand at daily auctions.Arrivals of Jeera crop stood around 5,000-5.500 bags and the same were traded at local auctions held at Unjha market while spot rates too were steady at Rs 151-Rs 153 per kg, as per local traders.Spot rates of pepper garbled were up at Rs 317 per kg and that of un-garbled was up at Rs 307 per kg while arrivals were declined to 3.5 tons and trades were unchanged at 5 tons at Kochi market, as per IPSTA.Spot market for turmeric was closed at Nizamabad on Monday due to some account of local festival. However arrivals at Erode declined to 7,500 bags with spot rates steady around Rs 50-Rs 52 per kg, as per local traders. Average price of small cardamom declined to Rs 578.6 per kg, while the maximum price offered was up at 937.5 per kg.Edible oil futures opened & traded in positive despite weakness in the global market, but in expectation of rise in demand ahead of festive season.Inflow of Soya bean crop declined to about 8,000-9,000 bags at MP market while no major arrivals were reported at mandis of Indore, as most of the traders stayed away from the market, as per local traders.Spot rates offered by planters stood were steady at Rs 24 per kg and the rate offered at mandis of Indore stood at Rs 23-Rs 23.3 per kg. Guar seed crop arrivals declined to 2,500 quintals, while the average of the closing spot rates was up at Rs 3,958.4 per quintal, as per agriculture marketing board of Rajasthan.Inflow of mustard seed crop increased to 16,150 quintals, while average of closing spot rates were up at Rs 2,592.6 per quintal, as per agriculture marketing board of Rajasthan. The total arrivals of mustard seed crop declined to 0.55-0.56lakh bags while the spot rates increased to Rs 29.7-Rs 30 per kg across major trading centers, as per market reports. Inflow of mentha oil increased to about 600 drums and the spot rates eased marginally
